Download Album Dream Theater Terbaik Terpopuler | Dream Theater was framed in Massachusetts in 1985 when guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, and drummer Mike Portnoy chose to shape a band while going to the Berklee College of Music. The trio began by covering Rush and Iron Maiden melodies in the practice rooms at Berklee.
Myung, Petrucci, and Portnoy combined on the name Majesty for their recently framed gathering. As per The Score So Far... narrative, they were sitting tight in line for tickets to a Rush show at the Berklee Performance Center while tuning in to the band on a blast box. Portnoy remarked that the closure of the melody "Bastille Day" (from the album Caress of Steel) sounded "great". It was then chosen that Majesty would be the band's name.
The trio then set out to fill the rest of the positions in the gathering. Petrucci asked his secondary school bandmate Kevin Moore to play the console. After he acknowledged the position, another companion from home, Chris Collins, was enlisted as lead vocalist after band individuals heard him sing a front of "Ruler of the Reich" by Queensrÿche. During this time, Portnoy, Petrucci, and Myung's riotous calendars constrained them to relinquish their investigations to focus on their music, as they didn't feel they could take in more in school. Moore likewise left his school, SUNY Fredonia, to focus on the band.
